'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is currently two years through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the first important achievement of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would definitely think about lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
